A day excursion combining the two most interesting cities of the north of Morocco. Start with the visit of Tangier, beginning with a drive along the city sandy beach and trough the main avenues as the magnificent Cap Spartel and then a scenic drive to the mythical Hercules Grottos. The Caves have been carved out by the perpetual action of the waves and partially by the hand of man. You will learn some of the many legends surrounding these caves.
Drive to Tetouan, and follow your guide through the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The authenticity of the Medina is demonstrated by the authentic urban design almost intact and the initial layout of its surrounding ramparts, gates, and fortified constructions. This edifice features many typical architectural characteristics related to its history. During your walk, you will visit the School of Traditional Arts and Crafts which produced some of Morocco’s best painters and keeps alive these traditional art forms in the modern world. The city stands out for the beauty of these traditional arts including embroidery, cuisine, mosaics, and carved and painted wooden objects. Children from disadvantaged backgrounds learn skills that give them a new opportunity for a chance of success for their future. Your entrance fees go directly to maintaining this wonderful initiative. Enjoy your lunch at typically Moroccan restaurant and continue your visit with the different Souks in the Medina. You will have to take some photos for the Royal Palace from the outside and have some free time before returning back to Tangier.
